Jesper Kristiansen is one of the writers of Enlightenment in Blood. He's a veteran organizer of larps, including Vampire: the Masquerade campaigns and urban games. He works for the Danish company Rollespilsfabrikken, training new larp organizers.
In this short interview, Jesper talks about his relationship with Vampire: the Masquerade and the World of Darkness.

What appeals to you in the World of Darkness?
The mix of real world history and mythical content. Because of the active use of the real world, there are an endless amount of interesting story seeds, ready to use. And you learn something new about the real world, every time you research a new game or story.
How did you get into Vampire?
I first encountered WoD in the late Nineties, where my larp-community organized the Copenhagen Chronicles. It became sort of the "thing you moved on to", from the fantasy-larps. I probably didn't get the finer nuances at that time, but we did have fun.
What's interesting about working on Enlightenment in Blood?
The possibility to make a larger sandbox, that includes more than one game system in a meaningful way. I've organized quite a few all-Vampire larps and larp-cycles in Denmark, but never tried one with an active inclusion of the other creatures. Also, the character tool Weaver is a super exciting element of this game, that I think will have great potential in the future.
