PROGRAM
The heart of World of Darkness Berlin is the convention, which takes place May 12-13 at the MOA convention center (with a third full day for the VTES Championship finals on Sunday the 14th). Here we will hear the latest news from White Wolf, catch up with World of Darkness luminaries Mark Rein-Hagen and Justin Achilli, playtest the Vampire Fifth Edition, and play the 13 brand-new tabletop, freeform and larp scenarios in our design competition!
Fan experts are offering fascinating lectures, panels and workshops, on topics ranging from community safety and campaign running to upcoming blockbuster larps and game design for storytellers.
You’ll be able to compete in World of Darkness Lore, showcase your art, and hear from White Wolf licensees. Also included in your convention ticket are the larps Dance Me to the End of Love, For Just One Night, and Dancing With the Clans (think of it as an in-character dance-off) – and we’re adding more program all the time.
If you’d rather play cards from morning until evening, you can qualify on site for the 18th European Championships in Vampire: the Eternal Struggle. (In celebration of this beloved game, every convention participant will receive an exclusive Limited Edition Anthology Card Set including coveted reprints and new Berlin-specific cards!)

For those of you who can arrive earlier or operate on very little sleep, we are offering more programming at other venues. On Wednesday, May 10th, you can play the official White Wolf Vampire larp End of the Line (extra ticket required). On Thursday, May 11th, you can either go to a gala film screening of World of Darkness – the Documentary (250 seats, event included in the convention ticket) or play in the second run of End of the Line.
On Friday evening and late into the night you can experience the First Night of the Anarch Revolution in our multi-location 360° urban larp Enlightenment in Blood. For this one night, we are bringing the World of Darkness alive in the city.
On Saturday evening, after the programme at the convention center wraps up, we’ll have a Vampire themed dance party at the Arena nightclub.

Come and hear the latest news from White Wolf Entertainment on Friday. What is coming up? What’s this talk about computer games? TV shows? White Wolf spills all!
On Saturday, White Wolf will give a Q&A where the panel of experts allows you to ask any and all questions you might have – from what is happening in the next few years, to why Spiral Dancers are so bad.

Meet the creator of World of Darkness!
Mark Rein-Hagen will be at World of Darkness Berlin telling stories from way back, answering all of your questions and showcasing his new work. He will be larping together with you in Enlightenment in Blood!

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
OF DARKNESS
Who knows most about the World of Darkness? Are you loaded with lore? Take our online test to qualify to sit the hair-raisingly difficult written exam in Berlin – for a chance to be one of our on-stage finalists!

Our Dark Quizmaster is WoD Expert Syksy Räsänen, adjunct professor of Theoretical Physics, whose 20-year-long V:tM campaign is run on all the books. All of them.
VAMPIRE FIFTH EDITION
You will get the chance to playtest the beta of the new Vampire the Masquerade fifth edition! Get the first glimpse of the new edition.
What is changing, how will the game feel? Play a short scenario to test it out or read rules and give feedback to the authors.
SCENARIO WRITING COMPETITION
In the months before the convention, we will run a one shot tabletop scenario game design/writing competition. You can choose to compete in one of two classes: Official rules, where you design to an existing rules set, or freeform/bespoke rules, where you employ any rules or mechanics you find appropriate to your game.
The finalist scenarios will be run at the convention for everyone to play, and a selection will be published as an official White Wolf product.
Chairing the scenario contest jury is Marie Wolfsberg Oscilowski, an avid WoD fan with years of experience from the world-renowned Fastaval scenario writing competition.
PLAY AND RUN THE SCENARIOS
To run the finalist scenarios in parallel sessions at the convention, we will need a lot of storytellers.

GALA SCREENING OF WORLD OF DARKNESS DOCUMENTARY
White Wolf and the producers Luckyday have chosen WoD Berlin for a special early screening of the anticipated documentary on the early days of White Wolf.
The gala screening will be at the amazing Delphi Theatre, a cinema virtually untouched since 1929.
Dress up in “Vampire Black Tie” for an unforgettable evening celebrating WoD, its creators and fans!
The first 250 ticket holders of WoD Berlin will get a seat for free.
