For Just One Night is a freeform larp based on Vampire: the Masquerade.

 

The old prince is dead, long live the new prince. A centuries old battle for control over the City has ended with the death of the old prince. Their child has survived to come out on top. Now it’s time to punish those who killed the old prince with the only true punishment: death by the sun.

 

Players take on the roles of the accused, centuries-old vampires each believed to be responsible for the death of the prince. Now, as the hours rush on towards morning, these ancient vampires must face their coming deaths and the centuries of choices they’ll be leaving behind.

 

This rules-light freeform experience is meant to explore just what it is to be immortal, and what a vampire might miss about their unlives in the last hours before greeting the sun. This is theater style larp with little to no preparation needed, costumes encouraged but unnecessary, characters built at start of larp.
