Enlightenment in Blood is a larp about the Anarch revolution in Berlin. The World of Darkness has a vast array of supernatural beings who relate to each other in different ways in different circumstances, but in this specific time and place, the Anarch Neonate is at the apex of the shadow world.

From the perspective of a Camarilla Elder, the Anarch Neonate has many disquieting qualities. There's a lot of Anarchs – many more than Camarilla vampires. They're exceedingly well integrated into the modern mortal world, and understand its many complications. For an Elder who still thinks that Blood Bonding the king is how you take control of a country, a social media savvy neonate who parties with politicians and invests in bitcoin is both alarming, incomprehensible, and surprisingly easy to underestimate.

What's worse, any mortal could be an Anarch agent. Supernatural power is great, but a police raid during the day can still kill you.

If you're a Bone Gnawer werewolf, a young vampire is a magical, sexy creature. You've seen all the movies, and let's face it: The vampires are always cooler than the werewolves. Sure, vampires are technically spawn of the Wyrm, but surely the taint is not so bad? As a Bone Gnawer, you're always dashing off to fight monsters in the sewers, which makes it hard to hold down a job or an apartment. At the periphery of your vision, these pretty creatures glide through the night as if they were charmed. Is it so surprising that you might yearn for a taste of their world?

As a Syndicate Technocrat, you live in a world that makes sense: it has certain rules that are always followed. Your job is to make sure that any irrational elements are stamped out, and this is a fight that you're winning. Yet you know that in the shadows of the city, there are things that should not be. Those things have their own secret appeal. After all, you're not a secret agent; you're just an ordinary Syndicate functionary. Sure, your job gives you a higher security clearance than most people. But in the end, are you really likely to be any more immune to the magnetism of a vampire than anyone else?

If you're a werewolf or a Technocrat, the life of the Anarch vampire seems very seductive. She moves through the modern Berlin nightlife with the aura of a VIP who always gets into better parties than you do. Sure, she's supposed to be your enemy, but is it so bad if you just have a little taste of her blood?
