We’ve teamed up with the Vampire Elder Kindred Network – the official V:TES Player association – to bring the 2017 European Championship of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle to Wod Berlin! The championships will be played during the convention as an open tournament, which means you will this time have the rare opportinity to qualify for the championships on site through placing well during the first day of play.

V:TES has been out of production since 2010 but has a big and passionate active player base. With the intent of making this event a truly unforgettable experience, White Wolf has licensed us here at P|D|A to publish a Limited Edition 100-card V:TES Anthology Set for the World of Darkness Berlin. Each participant of the convention will receive a copy of the set as part of their registration fee, and of course you will also have the opportunity to pre-order additional sets to be collected at the event.

The Anthology Set will consist of a selection of highly sought-after re-prints, cards from various VEKN expansions, and several new cards representing elements of the collaborative-style full immersion live-action roleplaying events End of the Line and Enlightenment in Blood, both of which will be run in Berlin during the convention. The exact contents of the card set will be announced at the end of January.

The schedule and side tournaments will be announced when competition registration opens on January 10th, 2017.

3 questions for Ginés Quiñonero, the chairman of VEKN

We're releasing a limited edition card set for the convention. How big news is that? – That is extraordinary news indeed, given the fact that V:TES has been out of print since 2010. For all these years, the V:TES player community has been working to bring our beloved game back in print, and this incredible news is a dream come true.

There are so many people out there – and coming to the convention – who used to play V:TES and may still have decks around. If they're yearning to take up playing again, what can VEKN do to support them? – VEKN, as the Official V:TES Players' Organization, can help them find players in their area, can provide them with the up-to-date rulebook and card texts, can answer their rules or organizational questions, and can effectively connect them with the amazing worldwide VTES community.

We're at an exciting moment of development with all the World of Darkness properties. If you'd get to wish for a future for V:TES, what would you hope would happen? – We would love to have V:TES back in print on a regular basis.
